Being a massive fan of Halloween, I have always wanted to decorate the house and throw a costume theme party for family and friends. Unlike others however, we decorate with a dark haunted horror house theme. Some would say it's not kid friendly but in my opinion that's what Halloween is all about. So with that in mind, we designed these invitations and postcard RSVPs to match. Printed on 110 lb Crane paper, this was literally our first letterpress project we started on and from here we never stopped.
Chris & Adelle Moran Wedding
This Victorian themed wedding was decorated to the fullest. We used the vintage décor and added a modern twist while keeping it classy and unique. Their monogram was projected behind them as well as on the dance floor. The menu, wedding programs and escort cards were digitally printed while the wedding invitation set and matching envelope were all letterpressed on 110 lb Crane cotton sheets with gold ink.
Thank you to Callaway Gable for some of the images.
Charlie Palmer Business Cards
These business cards were letterpressed on 220 lb Crane cotton sheets. The client wanted black ink with a dark brown edge painted look. This was one of our first projects we attempted an edge painted look and it turned out pretty well. It was a good challenge for us and the client was pleased.
Jennifer and Jason
A digital sample for a virtual client. This is a wedding invitation complete with RSVP, belly band with a matching tag. The set is digitally printed with a bright, modern color scheme and design.
We were going with an old 60's rock n' roll theme. Letterpressed on solar white Classic Crest 110 paper, this invitation was hot in pink.
Boy, Oh Boy!
It's a boy! Baby shower invitations for Marilyn and Rodel. No specific design was requested so this one was done straight from the heart. The clients were very happy with the design and their new baby boy.
Expanding passed the card creating side of letterpress, we decided to make gift tags for the holiday season. Fortunately these guys can also be used year round. Not your ordinary mundane gift tags, these go great for someone with that special kind of humor in your life. You can purchase these guys from our Etsy Store if you enjoy them. We had a lot of fun making them and we will continue to make more as soon as we can think of other funny things to put in.
Holiday Cards 2014
This was our first attempt in creating holiday cards to sell. There were about seven cards created all in different colors. The gingerbread (Bite Me!) card was scented in a gingerbread scent while the car freshener has that holiday pine tree smell. These were first premiered at our first craft at the Saint Irenaeus Craft Fair in October 2014. Among other challenges, the multicolored card and large surface area prints were not as easy as it may have seemed. But it was a great learning experience and I can't wait to make more of these in the coming holiday seasons. You can purchase these at our Etsy Store when available during the holiday season.
